Cookies and similar technologies help keep you signed in, preserve work and remember choices. Optional analytics is your choice.
Necessary technologies
Supabase authentication uses browser cookies to maintain and refresh your session. Resumeox also uses localStorage for working documents, cloud bindings, recovery records and settings. LaTeX and parser assets may use Cache Storage or IndexedDB. These support features you request; rejecting analytics does not clear them or sign you out.
Optional analytics
When you enable analytics, Resumeox loads Vercel Web Analytics. Vercel documents Web Analytics as cookie-free usage measurement, rather than cross-site advertising tracking. The integration can receive page visits and technical usage information. Resumeox removes query strings and fragments from analytics page URLs and does not send document content through this integration. Analytics is off until you choose to enable it.
Remembering your choice
A small versioned record named resumeox:privacy:v1 stores necessary=true, your analytics choice and the time of that choice in localStorage. It contains no name, email or resume content. It remains until you change it or clear browser storage. Material purpose changes can require a new preference version.
Duration and browser controls
Authentication cookie duration is managed by Supabase session settings and refresh behavior. Browser document storage, preferences and compiler caches can persist until removed; they have no general automatic expiry configured by the application. Clearing cookies may sign you out, and clearing site storage can remove unsynced drafts. Downloads and cloud documents are separate.
Manage your preferences
Use Cookie Preferences in the footer to accept or reject optional analytics and reopen your choice at any time. Necessary sign-in and document features remain available. There is no marketing category or advertising tracker in the current implementation. Browser privacy settings can also restrict storage.
